Justice League Porn Story: Winter Storm – Chapter 14
I
woke up, looking into Thomas blue eyes, Hey, sis.
I
smirked, Dj vu, huh?
It
seemed like I was in the cave every other week for some sort of
injury. I received a hug from both my parents. I felt so warm and
happy inside. Mypast didnt matter.
My
father held me close as I cried into his chest. It was that moment I
had longed for. He leaned closer to my ear, whispering, Im
proud of you.
I
was so happy to finally have his acceptance. I sighed in relief
before panicking, Ryan! Is he okay?
I
bit my lip, part of me not wanting to know. Thomas gently put a hand
on my shoulder, Hell live, but
I
shook my head, Just tell me.
Frank
sighed, Hell never walk again, Ales. Hes paralyzed from the
waist down.
I
shook as I cried. A young child like him should be able to run and
play. Now, he was confided to a wheel chair. It was my fault. I
should have known that Ember would hurt him. I should have stopped
her, Maybe, I can heal him.
Caspian
looked up from the seat beside me. He gently squeezed my hand, Ales,
it wouldnt work. Its neural damage. You cant heal that. Im
sorry.
I
collapsed into his arms, allowing him to cradle meto try and erase
my guilt. But, nothing could do that. I stood up, much to Thomas
dismay. I made my way up the stairs of the cave and into the kitchen.
Ryan sat by the counter in a wheelchair.
His
eyes lit up when I entered the room, Would you like some Cocoa
Puffs?
I
nodded. He made his way seamlessly to the counter, grabbing a bowl.
He handed it to me so that I could pour my cereal. He was still a
little young for that. Despite everything, he didnt blame me. He
smiled up at me, Thank you, Ales. You saved me from the bad lady.
She couldve kill me.
I
wiped my tears away, nodding, Youre welcome.
He
wheeled himself over to me, Why you cryin?
I
shook my head, I dont like to see you hurt.
He
only smiled, I get better you see. I walk gain soon.
He
had such faith. I didnt want to discourage him, Im sure you
will.
Even
knowing the odds were against him, I believed as well. He could get
better. Just because several doctors thought he couldnt did mean
that was how it would happen. He still hadnt come into his powers,
so maybe he stood a chance.
He
only smiled happily, Tomorrows Christmas. What you ask Santa
for, Ales?
I
smiled. I remembered the thrill of believing in miracles and in
Santa, I asked Santa for a Merry Christmas with my entire family.
I
looked up upon hearing a familiar voice, Then, thats all youre
getting from me.
I
looked up into dark brown eyes, Brendon, youre home from chefs
school!
He
smirked, running his hands through his short light-brown hair. He
opened his arms, allowing me to run into them. He growled as he gave
me his signature bear-hug. I felt like a little kid again. He
smirked, moving over to Ryan, Hey, little man.
He
laughed, ruffling Ryans hair. Ryan pouted, Im not little.
Brendon
only chuckled, I brought home some cool stuff for you.
His
eyes widened with childish delight. I smiled, leaving the too of them
to their play. I walked in the living room, curling up on the couch.
I sighed as my mother entered the room. I sat up enough so that she
could sit down, and I could lay my head on her lap.
She
gently stroked my hair, Do you think that youll be okay?
I
merely nodded in silence, Yeah, Ill be okay. I might never be
whole, but Ill be okay.
She
sighed, letting her tears fall. We both just looked out the window at
the peaceful rose garden, watching the snow lightly fall. The chaos
was over, but it had left a lot of damage. I sighed closing my eyes,
allowing myself a nap.
When
I woke up, my mother was gone. In place of her lap there were some
pillows, and a red blanket was draped over me. I stretched, knowing
where everyone would be.
I
walked into the grand ballroom. Glass was everywhere. Ryan smiled at
me from his wheelchair. He had a broom in hand as he helped sweep up
the pieces. I hated seeing him like that. I knew the chair would
never hold him back, but he couldnt run like the other kids. It
certainly hadnt limited his imagination. I picked up a broom
sweeping up some of my mess. I winced, clutching my side. My wounds
still hadnt completely healed.
Ryan
wheeled himself over to me, calling for Pete. Pete rushed over.
Everyone protected Ryan and came running when he called. It came with
being the baby of the family. Pete smiled at me, gently sitting me
down, You should rest. None of this would have happened if it
werent for Caspian.
I
stood up, hissing from the pain while glaring at Pete in anger, You
dont know Caspian. Hes not a bad guy. He loves me, Pete. He
allows himself to love. Just because he drinks human blood doesnt
make him a bad man.
Ryan sighed, Im going to get food.
I
smiled at him. Ryan only smirked as he walked away. I hadnt meant
to start this argument in front of Ryan, but apparently he knew when
to leave. Pete only glared back at me, You dont even realize
how dangerous he is, and is that a mark? You let him mark you?
I
reached up to the mark on my neck, Of course, I did. I love him,
Pete. You might think you are a good man, but when was the last time
you allowed yourself love? When was the last time you thought of
doing something nice because it was the right thing to do, and not
because you got some glory?
I
rolled my eyes after sitting with him in silence, I thought so.
Now, if youll excuse me, Im going to find Caspian.
He
shook his head, He went with Thomas to get a drink. Hes at a
bar called Underground. I should come with you. Thomas has anger
issues when hes drunk.
I
sighed, accepting his help. He walked into the garage, coming out
with his Ducati. I groaned in annoyance, climbing on the back and
holding onto him. I always had a fear of riding on the back of a
motorcycle. The worst fear was falling off while going eighty. Pete
figured that out when I started clutching onto him as we went
faster.
I could feel his smirk, Maybe, I should have gotten a
sidecar. You okay back there?
I
closed my eyes, Other than hyperventilating, Im great.
I
shivered as we went faster. I only hoped he wouldnt wreck. It
couldnt be too much farther. I just kept telling myself that.
Ales,
we stopped five minutes ago. You can let go.
He
laughed as I meekly loosened my grip on him. I glared at him as I got
off the bike, Its not funny.
He
continued to laugh, Whatever you say princess.
I
glared in annoyance, but I didnt say anything. I walked into the
bar. As long as I didnt order a drink, no one would question my
age, hopefully. I looked around, coughing from all the smoke. I just
hoped that I would find Caspian and Thomas. Sure enough, they were in
the middle of the room, getting kicked out for a bar fight. I sighed
walking out the building and around to the back alley where they were
thrown out by security. Pete was close behind me. He sighed, grabbing
Thomas who was squirming and kicking. He was angry. Pete sighed,
knowing what he had to do. He hit Thomas hard on the back of the
head, knocking him out.
Pete
then turned to me, Caspians your problem.
And
with that, he sped away on his motorcycle. I groaned, leaning over
Caspian, What were you thinking? Caspian, I know your upset, but
you can come and talk to me.
He
growled as I touched him, Back off, Ales. Get away from me. I
dont want you here.
I
looked down confused and embarrassed, Caspian, I promised you
forever, and I cant just leave you like this.
He
glared, yelling at me, I said get away from me, Ales.
I
looked away, gently putting a hand on his shoulder, Caspian,
whats wrong?
I
fell back in pain as his fist made contact with my mouth. I looked
down, blood coming from my lip onto my white sweater, before looking
up at him. I felt so hurt. Was he so angry at me that he had resorted
to drinking, Ales, I told you to get away from me.
I
stood up, walking away from him as if my face didnt hurt and as if
I wasnt bleeding. He stood, stumbling after me, Ales, I didnt
mean to. Ales, please dont leave me.
I
bit my lip, unsure of what to do. I walked back to him. He put up a
fight, but I wasnt about to give up on him. I finally got him in
Thomas car: a black Cadillac XLR roadster. I took the keys from
Thomas pocket and starting the car. Despite the fact that Thomas
was unconscious in the back seat, I could still hear him yelling at
me, warning me not to wreck. I took my time, hoping that Caspian and
I wouldnt fight anymore for the rest of the drive.
I
met Pete at the door when I arrived home. He lifted Thomas out of the
back. He smiled and nodded.
Thats
a bad bruise on her face. When I get a hold of that Caspian
I
sighed, Its not that bad, Pete.
I
knew that I would have a fight getting Caspian in the Manor. I made
my way to the passenger side. He swung at me as I tried to help him
out of the car. I lost my breath with a smooth hit to my stomach. I
felt sure that he had broken some of my ribs. I bit my lip, holding
in my pain as I carried him to my room. I helped him to the bathroom.
He
made it part of the way before he threw up on the bathroom floor. I
helped him to the toilet, holding his hair out of the way. He looked
up to me, gently stroking my cheek. I winced from the pain before
leaving him to get a mop. I slowly cleaned the mess as he continued
to worship the porcelain god of the bathroom. I finished, kneeling
down beside him.
He
stood wearily, going to the cabinet and searching through the
shelves. He finally found what he was looking for: Aspirin. He made
his way to my bed. I sat down beside him.
He
reached out and gently took my chin in his palm, lightly running his
finger over the bruise that had formed on my jaw and slightly swollen
lips. Im sorry for hurting you, Ales.
My
lips trembled slightly, but I didnt speak. He leaned down and left
a tiny kiss on the purple-tinged skin. I shook my head, pulling away
from him, Why did you do that?
He
looked away from me, shame apparent in his eyes, I couldnt face
you. Im the reason Ember got to your family. Im the reason that
Ryan is in a wheelchair.
I
slapped in across the face, Caspian, you cant let yourself
think this way. Its not your fault. You are stronger than that.
You put the toughest puzzle in existence back together. I dont
care how much you hurt me or what happens because of our
relationship. Yes, what happened was bad, but not being able to smile
at you everyday is so much worse. I almost lost you.
I
felt like an idiot, crying in front of him like that. He embraced me
after a moment of shock. He wasnt expecting me to criticize him,
but he needed it just like I need him. He smiled, I told you
before. Putting you back together was worth it.
I
smiled, leaning against him, Can we just lay like this?
He
nodded, pulling me closer. He started to begin our ritual like
always, Caspian, you dont have to
He
sat up, giving me a look, You dont want me here.
I
smirked, Of course not. I want you here. I just.think I can go
to sleep by myself just by being in your arms.
I
smiled, falling asleep in his arms. I wanted nothing more.
